Nafosa is the largest fodder industry with European capital, and one of its 5 plants is located in Peralta. They are mainly dedicated to the ecological production of alfalfa and fodder, producing high quality products, mainly oriented to animal feed in production farms.

As part of their policy of ecological production and reducing their carbon footprint, as well as the economic benefits that this could bring, 15 years ago they decided to change the diesel boiler they were using for a biomass boiler. Seven years ago, they replaced it with another biomass boiler, also with biomass, but with greater power, as production increased.

They consider the installation of biomass in their industry to be a highly recommendable option, both in terms of economic performance and environmental benefits.
